Welcome to Tala Riviera! This luxurious complex is located in a serene and tranquil area on the outskirts of Tala, a village in the hills around 10 minutes drive from the historic city of Paphos with all its facilities, the Blue Flag beach of Coral Bay, and a number of world-class golf courses.
The complex is finished to a high standard, with village style ceramic roof tops and external stone features. The communal grounds of this project are a unique highlight. A meandering river, starting from within a rockery, runs through the middle of the complex, interconnecting with the two swimming pools along the way and ending at a third incredible split level Infinity pool.
Tala:
The village of Tala contains a number of restaurants, bars and supermarkets for your everyday requirements. Also within the community boundary is the historic monastery of Agios Neofytos. It’s other minor claim to fame is that it is the ancestral village of the singer Cat Stevens. His father, Stavros Georgiou, was born here in 1900!
Paphos (or Pafos):
Paphos has a long and fascinating history. It was a centre of the cult of Aphrodite and of pre-Hellenic fertility deities. Aphrodite’s mythical birthplace was on this island, where her temple was erected by the Myceans in the 12th century BC.
The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs of the Classical, Hellenistic and Roman periods mean that the site is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The mosaics of Nea Paphos are among the most beautiful in the world. The port of Paphos was rebuilt by Nicocles, the last king of Paphos, at the time of Alexander the Great. The theatre dating to the end of the 4th century BC has been under excavation by the University of Sydney since 1995: it was partly excavated from its hillside setting and partly built up with earth embankments. The historic area around the Tomb of the Kings is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
As well as history, there are a number of tourist attractions and activities in the area. Find out more here.
